Rev. Dr. Christopher Williams is married to Rev. Dr. Gail Randolph-Williams. They have four children and six grandchildren. Rev. Dr. Williams received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics from Benedict College in South Carolina, a Master of Science in Principal and School Administration from North Carolina A & T in Greensboro, North Carolina, did further graduate studies in Mathematics at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois and completed a Doctor of Theology at Jacksonville Theological Seminary in Jacksonville, Florida. He taught high school, owned and operated several businesses and served his country in the United States Army.
While in South Carolina Rev. Dr. C. Williams was certified as a Stephen Minister Supervisor, received a training certificate from the Tri-County American Red Cross in Charleston, South Carolina and managed a local shelter facility. He also earned a certificate from the Boy Scouts of America National Executive Institute in Mendham, New Jersey. He is a certified instructor for the South Carolina Baptist Congress of Christian Education, has taught a Community Bible Study, trained Church School teachers, served as a prison minister, farmer and missionary to several West African countries, and served as one of the pastors at New Bethlehem Baptist Church on Wadmalaw Island.
Since moving to Pennsylvania, in 2008, Rev. Dr. Williams became a member of Abundant Life Fellowship in Edgewater Park, New Jersey. While there he was under the leadership of Apostle Abraham E. Fenton. He served as a leader in the Men’s Ministry and a member of the Abundant Life Fellowship Worship Choir. He and Pastor Gail serve together providing one day seminars and marriage retreats through which they provide tools to couples, which help their marriages, blossom into God’s true intent.
As Rev. Dr. C. Williams serves as co-pastor of City Church of Philadelphia, he continues to be guided by Prov. 3:5-6, which is his life verse.
Rev. Dr. Gail Randolph-Williams, the wife of Rev. Dr. Christopher Williams, attained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Temple University, a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry in Marriage and Family from Palmer Theological Seminary, formerly Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary. She obtained a Certificate in Drug and Alcohol Counseling from Villanova University, a Certificate in Basic Coach Training from Coaching4Clergy, is certified in Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE), and is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
Currently, she serves as the director of The Priscilla Institute at the Hestenes Center for Christian Women in Leadership and director of Eastern’s School of Christian Ministry (ESCM). She is an adjunct professor for both programs as well as for the Master’s program at Palmer. In addition, she serves as an Adjunct Chaplain and a member of the Advisory Board of the Pastoral Care Department at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
For many years Rev. Dr. Randolph-Williams was an active member of Abundant Life Fellowship Church in Edgewater Park, New Jersey. While there under the guidance, mentoring and leadership of Drs. Abraham and Eve Fenton she served as one of the pastors providing marriage, family and individual therapy, pastoral care to the congregation, a teacher of the Word and a member of the Ministers Council. In addition she served on The Abundant Life Fellowship Worship Choir and on the leadership team of the Worship & Praise Ministry. As she co-pastors City Church of Philadelphia, she continues to live out her life’s mission, as found in Isaiah 35:3-4.
